If you are a parent, then you have first hand exposure to how our genuine interests and strengths are prevalent in those early developmental years. The eating patterns; emotional responses; preferred interests that develop over time, you can observe the strengths and deficiencies from birth and then foster through the years. If you are not a parent, I suggest that you pay attention to a small child in your family. Not only can you relate to what I am explaining; you can develop a much better understanding of people in general.

We all need to have that strength no matter what your specific interests or gift sets.

As parents, we sometimes ignore these characteristics or try to influence our children according to what is “right”, “profitable” or has “potential”, but as Michael Jordan and numerous other successful people have shared … “You have to love what you do!”.  As entrepreneurs, marketers and business leaders, we often forget how important it is to foster, live by and capitalize on such strengths and interests. After years of influences and personally trying to develop other focuses, I certainly have a potpourri or attributes and things I like, though it is TECHNOLOGY, BUSINESS and HELPING PEOPLE has been my constant passion since childhood … I work with hundreds of people each week. Many have not a clue of how they should begin or what strengths will help them achieve their goals. On the other hand, they would like to work in a business that will permit them to do what they love to do. In order to do this, you have to pinpoint your intended path. You need to discover your innate gift sets if this was not fostered to you. I have never been more satisfied with my work and career choice, than when I began working online. Of course, I had a lot to learn and made quite a transition over the past 10 years … It has been worth all to do what I love to do for a living. I have always been pleased with the career choice I made whether starving marketer or in profitable months.

This is exactly what I pray for you!

Technology was exciting, fast paced and cool!

Atari was actually what put the creative and technical together for me. Later, I learned that our minds and ability to learn are deficient without proper exposure to both (note to any parent that is opposed to video games – get the Wii).  I played Atari for enjoyment, but was always distracted by what was inside the console and wondering how the programmers got everything to work. I found the same enjoyment years later with the TI, Apple, Apple 2, Apple 2e and so on. Now, I can’t get enough of everything this techie world has to offer especially when it comes to the Internet and Business.

Don’t get me wrong, I took ballet and tap classes. I cried like a baby when I was too old to play with Barbies. I was a mini mom to my little sister … but something about technology and business was just as entertaining as the girly / frilly things I also enjoyed.

Regardless, NOTHING could beat the day that I first jumped on the World Wide Web. It made me loose my ever loving mind. In fact, not long after, I spent every last dollar that I had to buy my first HP (5 MB hard drive) and accessories, dial up Internet service and LIVED ON THE INTERNET for quite a while. I just could not learn enough from and about the Internet!

It was inevitable that I would end up working in something techie and fast paced!

The Internet was also a blessing for my family. It provided me with the ability to register for distant learning courses before my second child was born. The Internet also offered the opportunity to become a stay at home mom.  Prior to this, I had very few work at home options that lasted. Sadly, I could not program websites at that time, so my first work from home experience was as an affiliate marketer with a company called AllAdvantage Marketing (pay to surf). This was the first  “pay per” / “pay to” company of that time. They paid much better than companies do these days and compensated for both surfing and several levels of referrals. Not long after, more “pay to” companies launched, though things really changed when Commission Junction, Paypal and their sister company Xcom came to the scene (before Ebay) … by that time I hooked up a free website builder and learned how to market multiple programs. When I finally transitioned to building pages with HTML, that was when I changed my college major from biology to computer science and took a break from the Internet for a few years.

So, basically, I went from no formal education and wondering what I wanted to do when “I grow up” to enjoying what I do. Now, I wake up each day knowing that I am able to see my children off to school and grab my cup of coffee before logging on the Internet to meet awesome people from around the world, market products and services and whatever else I feel like conquering for the day. WOO! HOO! God is so good . Who would have imagined that I would spend my days training and inspiring others to do the same while also working passively to become a leading Organic SEO Internet Marketing Specialists?

Why I have made this Pittsburgh SEO Lady Blog …

I have created this blog to share with others that are interested in improving the quality of their lives by learning how to use the Internet and make money online. This blog is also for any business that would like to learn more about improving their conversions and overall business on the Internet through Web 2.0, Web 3.0, Search Engine Optimization, Internet Marketing and all of the other wonderful facets /benefits of how the Internet can help make your business recession proof. If you are a person that does not have the time to learn all and market your website alone, it will still be to your benefit to know exactly what you want an Internet, Video, Business, Viral, Affiliate or SEO Marketer to do for you.

The following are some recent points I have to share with you.

3. Twitter marketing -viral from 300 to 6000+ followers in a month; gained Google rank, too.
4. I let my business website sit w/out changes for YEARS; moved it to 1st /2nd pages of Google, within a few months with off-site strategies.
5. Passively marketed this Orange Leads video on Youtube from October 26, 2008 to March 9, 2009, and it had it grew in popularity faster than some expert video marketers … it is not even personalized for my market. Regardless, imagine what aggressive marketing could do?

Why am I sharing all of this information?

Help more people learn how to use the Internet to accomplish their dreams. Meeting more people with the same Interests. Although I am more on the shy side, I train people daily and do just that each day. I have also spent many years helping companies with SEO Marketing and training others in Internet Marketing Strategies. This is my time to transition from the hustle and bustle to just develop, share and utilize Web 2.0, Web 3.0 and Search Engine Marketing technologies with others. Of course, since technology, business and helping people accomplish their goals is part of who I am, this includes working with people like you (those who made it this far in reading my profile ).

I am the first to admit that there is always much to learn in this industry, but I am one of the original Internet work at home mommies. I have over 10 years of developed experience in this virtual arena. I have worked off line and online in recruiting, training, sales, website development, project management and SEO Internet marketing. This includes 5 years dedicated exclusively to servicing  400+ corporate co-accounts while working from a virtual office on most occasions. Which is not so uncommon in this Web 2.0 era, but it takes a tremendous amount of commitment, organization, motivation and strategy. The Internet has provided both time & financial freedom for work at home moms, work at home dads, students, grandparents and virtual employees worldwide. It is just awesome to help and learn from more people that are working towards “live their dreams”.

In 2009, my focus is to EMPOWER more people and since I am now watching local businesses “go under”; there is much desire to help people that lost jobs RECESSION PROOF their lives. The Internet is a place for this change and your dreams are totally obtainable.
